Other folks who aren't quite so brave could read the Sinclair propaganda in a flat monotone, signing off with "I am making this statement of my own free will and not because my job has been threatened by the station's owners." *Wink!*

(2,434 posts)to read statements, it was obvious they were being forced to read statements. I so totally wish these journalists would stare into the camera and speak in a monotone making it clear they were/are being held hostage.

(2,434 posts)be risky but being fired for doing what you are told is equally risky for management as most of these people will have contracts and I doubt the contracts contain language about being "enthusiastic". That would be highly unheard of in journalistic circles. That would be an immediate red flag.
