Super PAC ratchets up ad war in MO Senate Republican primary

http://blogs.news-leader.com/mopolitics/2012/07/27/super-pac-ratchets-up-ad-war-in-u-s-senate-race/

"The Now or Never PAC—a campaign committee set up to bolster Sarah Steelman’s bid for the U.S. Senate—announced a $390,000 statewide campaign blitz today, including two ads that level harsh attacks against former St. Louis businessman John Brunner.

The Super PAC, funded by a handful of donors who are backing Steelman, has launched three different TV ads. One is a pro-Steelman spot, calling her the “true conservative” in the race.

The other two ads blast Brunner as a fat cat who got rich at the expense of average workers and who avoided taxes, with one suggesting he did so by sheltering money in the Cayman Islands. Both of the negative spots compare Brunner to incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo."
