For Profit Schools Take 30-40% Of Tax Dollars For Profit.

When a school is charterized or profitized there is a 30 or 40% cut in dollars. Profits drain the school of services. So if you want to cut school funding turn it into a for profit operation. Having worked for a cooperation years ago you have to realize at least that much gross profit so you can pay your overhead as a business in order to realize net profit of 15-20 percent.

What the public does not know is that running a public entity as a business means that that much percentage must be taken off the top. And the public ends up with less service and the employees end up with a 20-30% cut in pay and benefits as well.

So under the Trump agenda for the federal government it means actual cutting of operational dollars if you start contracting out services. And when government becomes a business operation there no longer is a government.

The profits will also be taken away from the community so there is a double hit on prosperity.

I had no idea that the profit margin was that high. Geez, most supermarkets are operating in single digits! And somehow, they manage to prosper.

But, a school has to make >30% to be worth it?

That's pretty awful.
