Anderson Cooper is interviewing Eric Swalwell. In the course of the interview Swalwell said "I'm here in Iowa speaking to voters"!!!
WHAT? Might he be thinking of running for President soon? What other reason would a California Congressman have to be in Iowa?
To me that would be fantastic!

There are a number of excellent candidates; some of us just haven't been paying attention.

OTOH he is one of the fewer next-generation Democrats with name recognition and camera time. He appears to be knowledgeable and intelligent and can hold his own against any repuke.
If he was now 47 and maybe replaced Feinstein as Senator from CA...

Even better would be to run as a progressive Governor from a "purple state".
People in the rest of the country don't like Californians for some reason
