Yet he pretends to be “down with the people” on his show while he covers four topics: immigration (all bad — they are robbing us of our jobs! They are criminals!), why the Russia investigation is evil/crazy/a hoax etc, something featuring an African-American like Maxine Waters that plays to racist fantasies, and cries about how conservatives are being “silenced” (he has limited self-awareness apparently).

It’s a really transparent formula and honestly I’m surprised that we haven’t heard more condemnations of his obvious tactics from other media sources — though maybe that’s just the attention he wants so it’s better to ignore him.
