Where you can say whatever and hide behind a computer. Look at sites like 4chan and reddit. Where all the nuts love to hump their guns and every wacky ass conspiracy theory that Alex Jones throws at them. Rabid animals with nothing better to do.

When they see someone getting attention for making sense about gun control, they lash out.

and tells the truth. They hate those qualities since they lack them.

Or complete lack of logic.

These people hate anyone respectable. David Hogg is a wonderful young man, I hope he knows how respected he is by decent people.

Smart, wealthy, articulate, white young male. 30 years ago, he would have been a College Republican heading for a career on Wall Street. Now he launched a progressive social movement overnight.

And they truly have no answers to his points. There is a certain small segment of the US population that is truly delusional about their guns, and they vote and contact their representatives.

And these representatives are well aware of how much money the NRA contributes to politicians.

They need to be taken down a peg or two. And maybe Mr. Hogg is just the guy to do it.

the propagandists decided that they very much wanted his voice silenced, because it wasn't in their control and it wasn't spouting the pro-gun rhetoric they wanted.

so they smeared him and all those outspoken kids with whack-a-doodle idiocy like them being "paid protesters" and "crisis actors" and whatever.

and their well-trained sheeple just eat it up because, well, they're very well-trained.


this is the scary dynamic that afflicts roughly one-third of our nation, and unless we are strongly united against them, all is lost.

She has said plenty of vile things before but she went after Hogg, a 17-18 year old kid, a mass-shooting survivor, and the reaction was immediate, massive and commercially punishing.

People have had it with the Right's BS on guns. This stuff has been building for years. The Parkland kids became a flashpoint. Add the fact that the kids are smart, articulate and media savvy and these goons have met their match. It's driving the crazies . . . even more crazy.

I think they know it is true. It's over.

The Rusian bots and trolls have gotten better at looking like real people. Putin has no problem with draining Russia dry to pay for what he wants.

Remember how all those anti Hillary trolls seemed like regular folks?

Articulate, passionate, factual, and threatening to others who use propaganda to get their views across.

David Hogg's ability to energize and mobilize his peers all across this country has the NRA and Republican Party scared.

And he's changing minds AGAINST them. He's a game-changer. He's bringing America toward the tipping point on guns.

Is that people's minds are finally starting to be changed and people are finally starting to wake up to what the NRA is doing, and being told "no" is what is terrifying the gun humpers. I for one am loving watching their meltdown. But I hope they stay on social media and don't escalate it.

They on the other hand are followers who need company just to say what they think.

they only way they know to make themselves feel better is to belittle and threaten other people. Especially if the person is threatening to their way of making themselves feel tougher and bully people.

He speaks clearly, expresses his thoughts on a level that demonstrates a command of the English language and sounds smarter than the folks (and many of their children) who've been yammerin' at the right about the second amendment over the past several decades. He sounds more adult than the adults leading the NRA and other pro-gun sites. His ability to think reflects their inability to do so, and deep down these gun lovers feel it whether or not they can actually understand it. That's in part what makes them so pissed off. Plus the fact that they are really afraid that Uncle Sam is coming for their guns and they'll be naked when the pending race-war, invasion, or rapture begins.

but the stuff that I'm seeing out there is horrific. One of my friends commented on a FB post with a picture of him asking the chilling question of "What would you do if he (Hogg) showed up at your door asking for your gun" and it showed up on my feed. Many of the responses were, predictably, threats of violence. My attempt to inject a tiny bit of sanity into the thread.......did not work. I ended up reporting the post to FB but AFAIK it's still up.

Young white male, from an FBI family, grew up in material comfort and privilege, and yet instead of embracing them or being indifferent, he's the victim of the crap that they've been shoving down America's throat for decades. Basically, they have no defense against him. He looks like them, so they can't dismiss him as an uppity person of color, he talks like them (actually better than most of them) so they can't dismiss him as an uneducated imbecile, he's relatively clean cut and has an retired FBI agent as a father, so they can't dismiss him as some anarchy loving, anti-American liberal, and while he may not be an expert on the ins and outs of an AR-15 (or maybe he is, I don't know but the point is it's irrelevant) no one can say he does not know what it's like to be a victim of gun violence.

Basically he takes all of their talking points and thunder away from them and turns it on them. The central argument of the NRA for decades has been that we need to be heavily armed to protect our picture perfect, freedom loving, all-American lifestyles from the sinister (colored) menaces that are waiting out there to take it all away. David Hogg is exactly the type of kid that they would love to hold up as a reason why we need to guns to protect. But in stead of protecting him, their policies turned him into a victim. By simply being who he is, he's exposing just how full of shit they really are.
