My expensive building is safe. Despite my best efforts to cut corners, the regulation firedoors and sprinklers worked the way the smart engineers I never paid designed them. Thank you Citizens of New York (suckers) for paying your tax dollars for fire fighters because I didn't pay my taxes (I am smart). Thank you firefighters, you guys are okay even though you are government employees and therefore mostly worthless. The fire wasn't started by a terrorist so it doesn't matter that someone died.

Can you imagine that you live in the 53rd floor of building you own, that you are (or claim to be) a billionaire, and you don't retro fit your building with an up tp date sprinkler system for the safety of you and your family.

What a fucking asshole.

Who says his pied a Terre isn't fitted with sprinklers?

My father had a number of sayings that were perfect for certain situations or people. He would describe Drumpf the same as he characterized his bil, my uncle (who I couldn't stand, either)

"It doesn't matter what you've got. His is bigger, better or he's got two of them."

Whatever you had, her's was going to cost 5 times as much. Not only was everything she had better than yours, she could do everything better than you. She was always predictable and the whole neighborhood hated her.

But the truth was she was a slob and her house was always a mess and looked like it was hit by a cyclone.

Notice this about Trump; he always looks awful with his stupid hair and ill fitting suits. But he attacks people for how they look and wants to only be around attractive people. How weird is that?

He really is predictable once you get to know him.

But when he says inappropriate shit like how well Trump Tower was built, he’s just trying to avoid any liability on his part. He doesn’t think he should be held accountable if people are stupid enough to get themselves killed in one of his buildings.

Just don't read him. I get through life by reading about 2% of his tweets. I turn him off on TV and radio and won't listen to podcasts where they play his clips.

He's a buffoon and a fool and we will kick his sad empty suit out of office after the 2018 blue wave.

Ignoring him is empowering.

It's disgusting that someone died and 4 firefighters were injured and he's bragging about his "well built building".

You're right, he is the worst person in the world.

It looks like a poorly maintained building.

... but I prefer tenants who DON'T die in fires in my buildings that don't have fire-suppression sprinklers.

Anyway, not to worry, the fire damage is insured, so I and my family are just fine. Better than fine. The best.

The resemblance ends there. For example, I am overweight, whereas he is a model of fitness.

The term firemen is outdated just like policemen. Of course, a lot of people still use the words. Personally, I can't stand the terms firewomen and policewomen. Firefighter and police officer are the modern words to use. If you have to distinguish a person's gender, I think the words female police officer is better than policewoman. Also, the term lady detective is just awful.

It is somewhat surprising that he doesn't have sprinklers in his tacky tower. . .

And you would think his arm would be broken by now - it's not easy for a "239 lb." man to reach around and pat himself on the back as often as this man.

He thinks only about himself, and his property. I don't know if there's a wrongful death lawsuit in there, but if there is I hope the dead person's family sues the hell out of him. (Do we even know the gender of the deceased?)

As a Native New Yorker, my guess is YES. Screw all those others no matter how much money they pay, and MEGA BUCKS to live there.
