I work with high school students. Granted I live in a conservative state, but there are way way more than 1% of kids that support him, and think that the answer is more guns. I wish it was not true, but a lot of people my age voted for Reagan with their first vote back in the day.

Peace

I can see where the reverse may come to pass. These youngsters have a moral cause. One question they can ask their parents: do you want to see me get shot on a high-school or college campus? That question is a damn strong incentive for parents, aunts, uncles and older siblings to give pause about their past voting record.

The whole reason this time is different is because the 18 year olds don’t want to be murdered in school. They aren’t motivated by anyone running for office or a politician or even a Party. Their motivation is pretty much one issue. Gun control.

That’s why this time is different.

and they are tilted Republican.

Fact is that as long as the Republicans remain a white centered party and the non white population has a higher birth and migration rate they grow smaller by the day.

The so called "autopsy" after President Obama's last election laid it out in pretty stark terms.

an appreciable number of "their" demographic will pass away.

My apologies to anyone offended, but it is a fact.

I was born in FDR's second term. Facts are facts. I still have a few pleasures in life. So, I'm in no hurry.

So I asked her exactly when her birthday is - turns out that this year it falls on the day after election day. She was born on election day in 2000, my friend remembers that day for more than one reason.
