Man drives van in crowd in Germany... and No, he wasn't a Muslim

http://www.tagesschau.de/inland/vorfall-muenster-101.html

A 48 yo local man, german, known to his family for minor mental problems and known to police for minor crimes.

He shot homself after driving into a crowd in the german city Muenster. 2 dead, 20 wounded. Police found in the van a gun and fireworks of a type known to be weak explosives. There were weird cables running through the van.

In his apartment, police found more fireworks and a disarmed, non-functional AK47.

I'm posting this, bc within minutes there were rumors on the Internet that it was a Muslim.

You KNOW if this was a Muslim he’d be going on about that non stop, as would his groupies.

2. Fox Noise is more powerful than internet rumors (that they didn't start themselves)

Since Fox Noise wasn't screaming about another Muslim attack, that was a dead give-away that the attacker was not a Muslim. What a guy was doing with a firearm if he was know to have mental problems is another matter. In Germany, it is no trivial matter to acquire a firearm, and people with a history of mental problems normally don't have much chance at getting their hands on one.

other than Muslim makes any crime lessor in degree.

Which makes the media racist.

5. 24 hours after it happened some German media outlets no longer have it as a #1 headline

But when it's a muslim who crashes the car into humans, it's the main media issue for a week or so.

Also, so many comments "thanks Merkel", "ahh refugees!!1" etc. within 1 or 2 hours after the incident. Then sudden silence after we learned that the driver's name is Jens, not Ali.

Interestingly, another car crashed into a group of people the night before. The police suspects it was a drunk, right wing asshole. Thankfully nobody was killed in that incident. There are rumours that the Münster driver had some connections to right-wing extremists, too, according to some newspapers.

Since we (hopefully?) have more Muslims than white supremacists in Germany, it appears like white supremacists are much more likely to crash cars into people than Muslims. If those rumours reported by tabloid-y newspapers turn out to be true.

Of course, reader comments in the German equivalents of Breitbart, Infowars etc. claim that those poor citizens had no choice other than killing their fellow citizens, because Merkel is destroying the country, they used Muslims as their role models, etc.
