Early risers in Oklahoma not only woke up to snow on Saturday morning, but also to the strongest earthquake the state has experienced since 2016.
The magnitude-4.6 earthquake occurred at 7:16 a.m. CDT Saturday with the epicenter being located near Perry, Oklahoma, according to the USGS. Perry is located north of Oklahoma City and west of Tulsa.
Hundreds of people across the region reported that they felt shaking, including folks in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Wichita, Kansas.

A little background on Pruitt's role in earthquakes happening where they shouldn't:
https://thinkprogress.org/pruitt-earthquakes-dbaacffdaec1/
In 2016, the year Pruitt was nominated by President-elect Donald Trump to run the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Oklahoma registered 518 earthquakes. Sixteen of them were magnitude 4.0 or greater, including the states biggest ever, a 5.8 quake that rattled houses from their foundations.
There is no question these earthquakes are caused by wastewater injections from oil and gas operations. Over the past decade, the states biggest industry has transitioned to hydraulic fracturing technology, which uses massive amounts of chemical and sand-laced water, injected at high pressure into the ground. The industry boomed but it also was left with significant amounts of unusable water. The cheapest, easiest disposal method is to simply inject the water back into the ground.
As state attorney general, Pruitt is responsible for advising and defending state agencies on legal issues. He is also responsible for protecting Oklahoma citizens. But under his watch, earthquakes grew exponentially, in both size and frequency. Oklahomas ground literally cant take the wastewater. The pressure is chipping away at the states fault line. And some legal experts say Pruitt could be on the hook for a potentially devastating earthquake.
The only person in the state of Oklahoma who had the authority to do anything about this was the attorney general, Paul Bland, executive director of Public Justice, a nonprofit advocacy organization, told ThinkProgress.
The article states that the fault line in Oklahoma where the swarms occur may have been irreversibly destabilized.

(14,155 posts).... the water, the land, the trees, the animals, and the natural resources, - all have been placed here by God so man can enjoy and exploit to his heart's content.
Anything less would be an abomination against the wishes of the Lord God Almighty. Man does not need to intervene in the natural order - the Lord will provide all his needs.
You see.... God fully condones the dismantling of the EPA. It has nothing to do with exploiting the natural order of things for personal profits - our actions are based upon the innocent motivation - of following the directives and commandments of Our Lord God in Heaven.
It is written again and again in the good book - Do Not Question your Savior.
