Some details of Trump Tower fire from residents. In addition to the building not having a sprinkler system, yesterday there were:
* no orders to evacuate
* no working phones
* no working elevators
* no fire alarms
* no one answering at the front desk

The more who die the more he can be sued, I dont want anyone else to die, mind you, but given his properties are likely to be unsafe., it is inevitable.

could not . He had been trying for a long time but it's real estate poison especially since trump became president . The man's friend said he could not give it away . Now it's a fire sale .
He had a lot of art. He did not survive but maybe some of his collection will. Fires can do damage to art of course but even smoke will destroy.

The fire detection system probably stopped the elevators but the alarms were probably not enabled. Don't want to wake up people when a pesky kid pulls a fire alarm handle.

Where I come from as a kid, the city just installed tornado sirens. The wealthy people bitched about the noise from the tests on Wednesday at noon and when the weather service issued a warning. Before I left town, if the weather service reported a tornado in the area, the police department had to dispatch an officer to verify a tornado. Of course this defeated the whole purpose of the system. But at least the wealthy were not bothered.

I image it is the same in all the Trump buildings and most of the places where people of influence reside.

My guess is they sent someone up to verify that it was a fire and could not notify people in the office to sound the alarms. Probably telephone cables were already shorted from the fire. Gonna cost someone.

that never happened and were just signed off? You mean inspectors that were paid off? No, Trump wouldn't do anything like that, would he?

Years ago there was a company near where I live that installed fire sprinklers in commercial buildings. They found out the hard way when there was a fire that they had actually glued the sprinkler heads to the ceiling without even running plumbing to them. This stuff happens in the real world.

True. Everything is planned and as FDR stated, “Nothing is an accident”. Scientism/paganism/the state (Deep State) has become god, —basic worldview of the ignorant masses— but it is a false god and all lies.

The evil satanic globalists (the only way you get to the top is by killing and stealing from the Good) have been controlling America’s “perceptions” of EVERYTHING (radio/MSM/Hollywood/”education” camps —skools) for over 100 years to control emotions so that rationality is destroyed and Up will be Down, Boys will be Girls, and Evil will be Good (to the useful idiots).

The only worldview which created the Age of Reason (free will/ability to think for self/individualism v. collectivism/tribalism) is the Christian catholic worldview.

Truth will set us Free.....but too many people believe in lies and the MSM “programming”. Wisdom of the past is being obliterated on purpose in children. They never seek the Truth (God) and Classical Christian curricula/original sources——it is too easy to “look” up so-called “truth” on wikipedia/textbooks LOL/siri (which is only lies and control of your emotions/perceptions)......

Any Truth???? in MSM???-—very little—just enough to dupe you and make you “feel” like you are getting the truth— to control your emotions and make you love satanism, your slavery.

Mostly inspections of new installations, but I'll tell you this for nothing...you should have seen the shit hit the fan when there were issues with a system not working PERFECTLY.

The company I worked for was once sued over a failure that caused a crack sprinkler pipe to ruin all the interior finishes in an almost-completed building over the Xmas closure. Even when it was found that the power to "our" system had be turned off as a cost-cutting measure and the batteries eventually went flat (required to run standby power for 24 hours, then 5 minutes of full evacuation mode), they wouldn't drop the lawsuit. They are SERIOUS about liability in that industry.

What saved the day for "us" was meticulous record-keeping during my inspection. I noted that no one had thought to call the sprinkler installer for my inspection, so I didn't touch any of "his" equipment - just the interconnection between the two, and it turned out that, while our equipment and the interconnect worked flawlessly, the sprinkler system was poorly designed - not my department. Saved $250,000 of our insurance co's money.

The moral is....this is SUPPOSED to be a VERY tightly-run industry. Apparent
shoddiness like this is shocking to me.
