(17,305 posts)Based on the context of the story, it's ludicrous that so many Americans (and an alarming number of Canadians) are opposed to welcoming more immigrants into our countries. They do more good than harm. This doctor is just one of many examples.

(The story you link to says his family is from Syria, so I looked him up). He went back to Syria to care for airstrike victims.
