It appears my Facebook data wasn't mined by "This Is Your Digital Life."

I knew I hadn't logged on to it - and it seems that none of my "friends" did, either. Admittedly, 99.9% of the people on my rather skimpy friends list are family or people I have known for years. Only a few are people I connected with via different groups. And I wouldn't know how to use an App, if my life depended on it. I'm still not even all that sure what they are!

I was getting a number of creepy friend request from people with profiles that lacked in both friends and photos, but were full of Cyrillic script, so I was kind of expecting a different outcome.

I read that that was the conduit but what was it? A quiz, an app or game you join?

I'm just trying to figure out if I saw it or did something with giving all of my info over to CA.

I have a habit of deleting both sponsored ads and anything that doesn't come from someone I know, that shows up in my 'news feed'. Especially anything that requires me to answer a bunch of questions.

Facebook is supposed to be contacting everyone and letting them know if they were affected, or if they weren't.

The big problem is that even if you didn't access that site, if one of your friends did, it grabbed your info, too. I guess all of my friends are as cautious and/or suspicious as I am!

Yeah, I know about if anyone on my friends list accessed it, I'm at risk. I have people on my friends list I'm pretty sure would have done something like that.
