Trump believes himself to be Dictator Over American, and the Media is Helping Him

http://www.city-data.com/forum/49765995-post61.html

He has no plan to improve America... his only goal is to install himself as a Dictator. It should be evident to all Americans, the way he ignores congress, his deranged mentality and conduct toward anyone whom has addressed the crazed things he has done, he has set out an attack upon and against the people and this nation. The vile of the man, is evident, and its insane that American people have allowed it to go on this long. It's time for our Congress to Act. But it must be done where there is no advance of Pence or anyone even remotely associated with the Republican Ranks. Therefore, it is necessary for the "military" to take over for 6 months and maintain our stability. No suspension of the Constitution, only a "Management by Military" pending "A New Election" !!!

It's a Fact that Trump should be removed from office, and the Military take over, for 6 mos (until we can have a new election).
Roll back back everything Trump has done, For 6 mos. under military guidance, the military cannot make laws and cannot pass any bills within those 6 mos. The only thing that can be done, is roll back the system to before Trump took the office.
Everything rolls back to the Last Day of President Obama's Presidency, Expel Everyone Trump brought in and Hold a New Election. in 6 months, and install a New President

I want Trump gone as much as the next guy but handing the government over to the Military is not something that democracies do.

This is so contrary to the Constitution that it comes out of left field with no legitimacy at all.

It is laughable that the writer says "No suspension of the Constitution" when that is exactly what this is.

We certainly need to do something more than what we are doing.

a few slap stick puns certainly is not going to do anything. Heck, as biased and right wing as the City-Data site is, they engage to talk far more than the people in this website.

In talking they build consensus among each other.. we may not like their ideals, but they talk to each other and build a unity, that seems impossible in this Democratic Site.... We should learn from.. how they hold their base together !!!

Yet, people here are too afraid to talk or keep a article positing alive, because they think it might make one of the members more noticeable than another, RATHER than -push to support information and build consensus" that goes beyond a one liner slap stick comment.

People are quick to critique, but have no alternative options to express and present.

Because they do.

We are in this mess because not enough people could agree that a long-standing public servant was a better choice than a con-man with a bad business record. But you think that we can have enough of a consensus to allow the military to take over? Don't be ridiculous.

What you are describing is a revolution and would be the end of our democracy. History shows that Military coups rarely transition back to democracy peacefully .

And since when is the Military your friend. What makes you think that a Military take over would be a progressive move? At best, the Military skews right. At worst, they can be even more fascist than what we have. Mostly, they suffer from the hammer and nail approach to problem solving (when all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail). And what makes you think the Military would act as one? Don't you think that there is a large enough faction of conservatives and Trump supporters among the Military that would cause that action to be a great deal more messy than you describe?

One of the most important aspects of our Democracy is that the Military is subject to civilian control. By mission, they are politically neutral and act on behalf of the civilian leadership to enact policy. Their loyalty is to a command structure that regularly changes with the results of elections. Asking them to interfere on behalf of one of the parties against the other is a terrible idea.

The fact that you say "people here are too afraid to talk" is laughable. People here do a great deal of talking. Just because they do not agree with the overthrow of the Government by military coup does not make them soft.

They have been so much fun in the past in other Countries.

I swear, I would expect this "solution" from a Trump supporting NRA type before I would expect it from DU. I could even see their argument that the "DEEP STATE" was out of control and that only the military could stabilize the country.
