People hailed Zuckerberg as a Golden Boy, based on Money... and he has shafted 100's of millions

https://www.yahoo.com/news/zuckerberg-hedges-facebook-tracks-214550221.html

People ran to this Facebook like mad, with no thought of the wanton ways that took down MySpace... Facebook may have started out to connect people when it was on University Campus Group Connects. But, it has long since left that model. It ran up the cost of digital data companies into buying and selling for Billions, as it did everything to cut out competition, and it defaulted to be the largest Public Database for Public Information, after the US Census and IRS... Facebook's model was and is "selling people" to any advertiser or group looking to do "data mining".... and the people flocked to it with no thought of the malice of what Money promotes...

Once he was hailed to be of such wealth.. people "stopped questioning"... We see the same thing with the placement of Trump.

American's Obsession of Measuring People by Money... continues to prove to be the downfall of the People and This Nation!!!.

People can't even marry for love anymore, they first have to check the finances of the others, and if it changes, then divorce is imminent. heck, many can't even make friends without a material measurement... so we see vile and killing of every type... people kill their family, when they run our of money or can't get to live like a TV Commercial Imagery.

This nation's people better get back to "Considering Character", and Regaining a Respect for Integrity"... not how much money someone has, or which girl is skinny and wearing a bikini and or exposing herself as much as possible, and thinking men with media popularity is something they are not.
We take facial looks and body shapes as an assumption that people are something they may not be. We better look at the mind, the heart, the dignity and the character and then be for certain to concern ourselves with moral integrity.

Sadly, across the world, the blindness by "material measure", "material status" and "physical image" has made a world go blind and act with every type of madness once detested. Now, we let such blindness drive us to "give a pass to anything", as in "anything goes"...

We can't even enact the Laws in this Country and Our Own Congress has Caved In. When we allow a man to sit in the highest office and denigrate every aspect of the governance, and attack the system of laws and law enforcement... because we allowed him to become De-facto Dictator.

Zuckerberg can sit before congress and still act as if he does not know the malice he has created and promoted. He relies on his popularity an wealth to over-ride any act by congress, and no actions by the law enforcement system in this nation.
We created this Madness and Now We ACCEPT IT.

Yet, we have 100's of people who read this stuff and sit silent with absolutely nothing to say....
The complacency is astounding, but it tells the story of our own decline and down fall... when we no longer are driven to think and communicate thoughts about the conditions and situations of our own downfall.

Maybe people are not the nature of Democrats they claim to be... Because if the Platform supports what it claims, and the people support the platform; then "silence is definitely not an option"

Yes I despise Zuck and FaceBook and their business model. But on the other hand, why did people have any expectation of privacy as they posted their relationship status, put out to the publc pictures of their family, homes and vacations? Logged into everything from shopping sites to news comment sections using their FaceBook passwords? Took personality tests and linked them to their account. We all have identifiable IP addresses and most people know that fact.

If someone takes their mistress on a trip, or walks into a house of ill repute, they take their chances of being seen. Why did we expect the World Wide Web to be any different? I realize even with my screenname on here, somebody with the know-how could vacuum up who I really am and all my beliefs expressed on here in a nano-second.

Plus, I suspect Google is worse. They know just about everything about me between my searches, accounts and android phone. Abstractly we want privacy. But we also like the ability to ask our phone to direct us wherever we want too go, to tell us where to get cheaper gas or groceries. And yes, we like to post our pictures, our ideas and our lives to satisfy our egos and goals. But we don't expect to pay for all this free access and information directly, so we have been accepting the targeted advertising and sale of our privacy instead.

I just switched to Android... I like it a lot less than the windows phone I had. I was not bombarded with ad's. My windows phone was ok for what I do... but some apps would not reload, and I did not want to do a reset...

I don't do anything financial on my phone, and I don't play games, and I am mindful of text, and I don't do social media on it, I don't even do this site on it.

I think in time it will get far worse before it gets better, because EVERYONE has figured out how Facebook, Twitter and Google Makes Money.

14 years of Mark Zuckerberg saying sorry, not sorry

Do you trust Mark Zuckerberg?

From the moment the Facebook founder entered the public eye in 2003 for creating a Harvard student hot-or-not rating site, he’s been apologizing. So we collected this abbreviated history of his public mea culpas.

It reads like a record on repeat. Zuckerberg, who made “move fast and break things” his slogan, says sorry for being naive, and then promises solutions such as privacy “controls,” “transparency” and better policy “enforcement.” And then he promises it again the next time. You can track his sorries in orange and promises in blue in the timeline below.

All the while, Facebook’s access to our personal data increases and little changes about the way Zuckerberg handles it. So as Zuckerberg prepares to apologize for the first time in front of Congress, the question that lingers is: What will be different this time?

I created a site before Facebook became popular, and before linked-in became popular... an my biggest concern was "how to protect people's information".
I used a purchased program that was built based on My Space Templates.... It was designed where the data base for people info would not be connected in a way hackers could get it, and it would take the individuals authorization as to who info was released to.
I detested the thought of making people's data available to marketers.

At the time, I did not have a team to help, and I learned more about how to secure the site in time. It got hacked by Chinese, but there was nothing of personal data anyone could get. I fixed it... but unfortunately resources were challenged and the economic crash happened, so I had to abandon fully launching it.

I still have the concepts and design ideas....

Even my mother at the time who was 80 yrs old.. knew about the need to protect individuals data, and she was not a tech wizard but she sure had a sense of ethnic and standards, and knew the value of protecting peoples data.

Therefore, it is evident Zuckerberg had no concerns for such, he saw nothing but Money and the Pursuit of Power. I personally never liked him.. because there is and has always been something very Odd about him.. that does not seem to be of any level of "humane regard for the integrity and dignity of people".

He spent time buying up anything that he could in a Power Grab Game... and now I hope time spins and bring him down and diminish Facebook, because he violated everything in the way he created the model to become. He lost any thought of being a service, and only saw it as a money making machine by any means. Nothing he says should be believed.
