House Speaker Paul Ryan has told people in his close circle that he does not plan to run for reelection in November and will announce the news as soon as today, Axios reports. The Wisconsin Republican has had a noticeably frustrating time since President Trump’s election, but he claimed the tax bill passed recently had fulfilled a lifelong dream.

an overwhelming majority of Republicans...and he has lost support. His tax cut is gone as soon as the Dems regain power. He knows that. Better to say I did what I set out to do rather than I may very well lose the next election.

This outfit seems to have come out of nowhere and has sources everywhere. Their stories almost always seem to check out. They really seem to be doing great work.
