When you see a "This message was self deleted by the author" are you curious?

As to what they said? I mean i get that in a lot of times these deletions are a good idea (and certainly I've had times when I thought better of something stupid I said) but when I don't know what happened I still get curious.

And I didn't want to promote a right wing organization.

I figure people make mistakes like that, but still I want to know.

Mostly when I've written something in direct response to another poster and then continue to scroll down through the thread only to realize someone else had already written the same thing. I'm not trying to steal someone's shine or look unoriginal (not that originality is my strong suit anyway).
