They have huge tax cuts to run on. The EPA has seriously gutted regulations. Executive orders punishing the poor. Increased troops on the border. Overtly fomenting hate. Rolling back the ACA.

If they weren’t getting shit done we wouldn’t be so pissed.

They will be sold by those who benefited the most. Under current campaign finance laws they have the strongest voice. These tax cuts are enormous. It’s one of the easiest things to sell by way of propaganda.

could be peeled off. A few percentage points here and there can add up to a landslide. And we have seen plenty of instances when the bigger money pile still lost. Personally I think the power of advertising dollars is overstated and/or past its peak. Certainly the weak-minded can be swayed (or bolstered) but they are lost to us already.
