I am noticing a pattern...

Every time these Senators and Congresspeople retire they all say they want to spend more time with their families.I don't buy it. I think they know they won't win in their districts. Then a lot of them are afraid to go against Trump so they just leave too.

The investigation into the Russian matter will uncover some unsavory things. So they are leaving the DC scene, hoping they will fade into obscurity and we will forget all about them. Nope. If they did bad things, illegal things, they will be found out. And the truth will set US free. Them?? Not so much.
