Rolling Stone: Michael Cohen's criminal ties

Last edited Wed Apr 11, 2018, 12:59 PM - Edit history (1)

Forgive me if this has already been posted, but there's an interesting article on the Rolling Stone site about Cohen's history. Sounds like he's up to his eyeballs in Russian mob, and has been his entire life. According to the article, he joined up with the Trump Organization in 2006. I want to cross-check dates, but is that when 45's businesses started doing better? (i.e. when he quit appearing to be the complete and utter business buffoon that he really is?)

(I deleted the link.)

Thank goodness for Norton, because if you had Kaspersky Anti-virus, I'm sure your computer would be toast!

Not sure how it happened though, I was scrolling the page down and it started 5 separate attacks of the same attack.

Fake Tech Support Website 62.

Followed up by an unauthorised attempt to access my registry...

Fuckers.

No real rhyme or reason for it, as far as I can tell.

Maybe it will get to the point that the porn websites are safer for computer viruses than the political sites

It is a shame that a rock and roll mag is doing the best investigative reporting in the US....

And they were just bought so we will see how long it lasts.

you didn't do the attack. My guess it is a cross site scripting attack (XSS), I was hovering over the add on the right when it happened...

and they just appear without any scrutiny. I see that rollingstone.com isn't alert to that kind of exploit, so there goes another site onto my don't visit list.

Hint: If you're a Windows user, keep Task Manager running all the time. Then, if you get one of those ads that prevents you from doing anything, just close your browser's task. That kills it.

I clean hacked web sites and computers for a living...

But good note for others.
