Forgive me if this has already been posted, but there's an interesting article on the Rolling Stone site about Cohen's history. Sounds like he's up to his eyeballs in Russian mob, and has been his entire life. According to the article, he joined up with the Trump Organization in 2006. I want to cross-check dates, but is that when 45's businesses started doing better? (i.e. when he quit appearing to be the complete and utter business buffoon that he really is?)

(1,054 posts)Thank goodness for Norton, because if you had Kaspersky Anti-virus, I'm sure your computer would be toast!

(4,756 posts)Not sure how it happened though, I was scrolling the page down and it started 5 separate attacks of the same attack.
Fake Tech Support Website 62.
Followed up by an unauthorised attempt to access my registry...

(1,054 posts)No real rhyme or reason for it, as far as I can tell.
Maybe it will get to the point that the porn websites are safer for computer viruses than the political sites

(4,756 posts)you didn't do the attack. My guess it is a cross site scripting attack (XSS), I was hovering over the add on the right when it happened...

Hint: If you're a Windows user, keep Task Manager running all the time. Then, if you get one of those ads that prevents you from doing anything, just close your browser's task. That kills it.
