Stopping the Mueller investigation is a good, logical, self-interested move for Trump.

working on the assumption trump is guilty of crimes as well as impeachable offenses, trump has two choices. he can let the investigation continue, fighting it every step of the way. Or he can shut down the investigation.

Trump doesn't have a "resignation" mode in his spectrum of operables. he will never resign.

so if he shuts down the investigation by firing rosenstein/mueller, he gets two benefits. he creates chaos and creates a long term fight that may provide a win for him. and trump will fight dirty and not follow any laws or norms as he fights.

if he lets the investigation continue, his presidency is under a cloud and in the end he will be ousted/impeached..

Isn't it massively screwed up that what's going on is just another day in trump world?.

The "new normal", this bastard should have been cashiered long ago instead of dominating the news cycle every possible moment due to his absolute inadequacy to hold the job he stole.

But then again lots of the information in the news these days is about just that.

Remember when everything was supposition or unfounded rumors?.

His removal in whatever form it takes will be epic.

Our grandchildren will read about this time in our history.

If the suitcase/football is kept out of his reach.
