Newsweek: Trump Is So Angry, He Mostly Just Eats and Watches TV

Trump Is So Angry, Hr Mostly Just Eats and Watches TV

http://www.newsweek.com/trump-so-angry-he-mostly-just-eats-and-watches-tv-881226

Updated | President Donald Trump is so angry about the FBI’s raid on his personal lawyer Michael Cohen, that he is spending much of time brooding, eating or just watching TV.

The president has openly expressed his frustration with the Monday raid on Cohen. “Attorney–client privilege is dead! ” he tweeted on Tuesday, following up with another message that simply read: “A TOTAL WITCH HUNT!!! ” in a repeat of the language the president has previously used to describe the ongoing probe into possible connections between Russia's interference in the 2016 campaign and the Trump team.

Several people close to the president told The New York Times that Trump had what they described as a “meltdown” over the raid, which was related to Cohen making a $130,000 hush payment to the porn star Stormy Daniels. Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, allegedly had an affair with the president around the time his youngest son, Barron Trump, was born.

Prior to the raid, which renewed concerns over whether Trump would attempt to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller, the president was reportedly in a bad mood—spending the weekend doing little other than dining at the Trump International Hotel, watching Fox News and bemoaning his lack of support. Two people familiar with the situation told The Times the president had watched a Fox News piece about the so-called “deep state” working to bring him down, pushing him further into a bad mood.

Hitler was in denial about the dire situation and placed his hopes on the units commanded by Waffen-SS General Felix Steiner, the Armeeabteilung Steiner, "Army Detachment Steiner". On 21 April, Hitler ordered Steiner to attack the northern flank of the encircling Soviet salient and ordered the German Ninth Army, south-east of Berlin, to attack northward in a pincer attack. That evening, Red Army tanks reached the outskirts of Berlin. Hitler was told at his afternoon situation conference on 22 April that Steiner's forces had not moved, and he fell into a tearful rage when he realised that the attack was not going to be carried out. He openly declared for the first time the war was lost—and he blamed his generals. Hitler announced that he would stay in Berlin until the end and then shoot himself

after a republican rigged election coup and the influence of a hostile foreign
power Russia, and America is not up in arms.

BTW one other reason Trump is going all batshit .... the day of the AM raid on
Cohen Mueller had a scheduled "a sit down" w/Trump's lawyers.

and it wouldn't be in a normally functioning democracy.

On a side note, I'm becoming more disappointed with the way this national nightmare is being covered. The endless reporting on his behind the scenes antics, the ridiculous questions about if he's going to fire Mueller or Rosenstein. Each ridiculous question, each article exposing the crazy is normalizing this shit because nobody is calling for him to step down. And something that has bugged me lately--it was the NYT that introduced the "Mueller Red Line" into the discussion. Since then it has been an endless "entertainment topic" for over a year now, but since when does a president have the right to a "red line" when it comes to the investigation of his crimes? In some ways, it feels like the media is doing trump's bidding. Next they'll ask trump when he's going to send his opponents to camps as if it's something he has every right to do. They have a responsibility to not feed into his bullshit and they're failing. Enough is enough.
