the graduation class for the next round of new lobbyists??? The money is always pretty fat for the GOP and 1% even if when they are out of power.

Ryan's campaign has around $10,000,000 in it. How many jobs in the civilian world allow you to work for $174,000 (base Rep's pay, speaker gets $223,500, majority and minority leaders get $193,500) for 18 years with a $10,000,000 gold watch?

In the long term, I think it means the GOP slides into irrelevance if they do not have a reckoning. IN the short term, it makes them extremely dangerous, IMO, and we'll see more states suffer the fate of Kansas and Oklahoma.
