The idea seems undignified, and it sounds like some of the details are kind of tacky. It may be revenge against Trump, but it doesn't make him look good.

(27,813 posts)I don't like Comey, don't get me wrong, but there seems to be little else he can do because the rules of decency don't seem to apply anymore.

I'm happy to see a big, fat, orange, lying, ignorant, racist BULLY get made fun of--bopped in the nose, and if took James Comey to do that
tRumputin gets too many passes STILL for what he says and does. Most in the media and the political collective body dismiss HIS insults of others, like him continuing to call Hillary Clinton "Crooked Hillary." He also hurls insults at others, and of course, most in the media and in the political collective body as well just let it slide. My friend (Liberal) said that Tammy Duckworth is no better than tRumputin is in her eyes now because she called him Cadet Bonespurs. Yeah, Tammy lost both legs defending this country, AND she's one hell of a battler for the little guy/gal, for vets, and for those most disadvantaged, and my friend said that she's no better than Fatso is People have the right to not like what Comey wrote in his book about tRumputin. However, others have the right to say that tRumputin had those Comey insult-poo comments coming.
No, we are not living in "normal" times, and if at times it requires pettiness, getting in the mud with and bopping a bully like tRumputin in HIS nose, then so be it

What I find unseemly is Trump's termination of him in order to avoid justice.

(99,710 posts)He said Trump has an orange hue, small hands, and his eyes looks like he wears goggles for tanning purposes. How would that be different than saying Barack Obama has a medium dark brown hue, normal size hands, and is of average to athletic build ?

(115,731 posts)Since Comey is 6'8" it's likely that his hands are bigger than most people's.

(13,081 posts)Because of the context in which it started. Theres a thirty year history behind the story, clearly illustrating Trumps psychotic level of insecurity. Trump is the one that brought it up during the GOP debate, and spent years tracing outlines of his own hand and mailing them to a reporter he had a decades-old grudge against, for the crime of writing that Trump had small fingers that were neatly groomed.
Its not just a joke about Mango Unchaineds little dick.
Im with you on the Comey book, though. Its tacky at best. If it were a serious memoir of an important person in FBI history it would be one thing. But this seems like a shameless, salacious cash in.

(7,286 posts)That freedom of speech is a pesky thing at times but the way this man was treated he has a right.
There is a reason no other FBI directors had to write a book, they were treated with respect.
Except for Hoover he was feared

You just described Dotard. I don't give a rats ass if Comey "lowers" himself. He did that by destroying HRC.

Those trashing Comey, remember he stood up to the Bush crowd on Torture.
Theres a lot trashing of him here because of his handling of the HRC email Investigation. I think that gave those who were on the fence about her all they needed to stay home. To me, thats on her, not him.
