Distraction: Trump poised to pardon Scooter Libby, Dick Cheney's former chief of staff, sources say

President Donald Trump is poised to pardon Scooter J. Libby, the former chief of staff to (Vice) President Dick Cheney, according to sources familiar with the president’s thinking.

The president has already signed off on the pardon, which is something he has been considering for several months, sources told ABC News.

The move would mark another controversial pardon for Trump and could raise questions as an increasing number of the president’s political allies have landed themselves in legal jeopardy. The White House has repeatedly said that no pardons are currently on the table for people caught up in the Russia investigation.

Early in his term, Trump pardoned controversial former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio after he was found guilty in July on criminal contempt charges stemming from his refusal to stop imprisoning suspected undocumented immigrants.

How cool he is with lying and obstruction.

Dude! You can stop establishing intent...we get it. Mueller has enough intent to put your traitorous orange ass in jail for life.

Whatever makes the The Talking Yam feel better about himself.

I find it juvenile and quite frankly hilarious.

I guess Spanky wants everybody to know that he doesn't think lying to the FBI and obstruction of justice aren't serious crimes, just minor offenses like jaywalking and littering.

He's just trolling people like us who do know.

I'm laughing at his lame trolling attempt. I could care less if he pardons some dirty 70ish year old Republican has been.

It's not going to do Libby any good at this point.

He's got his law license back and his civil rights restored so he's fine. By pardoning him Trump is sending a signal that lying to the (BAD!) FBI and obstructing its investigations isn't such a bad thing (because the FBI is illegitimate and corrupt), and that he'll pardon people who are also convicted of those offenses.

To get the country and his base (It'll make them ecstatic. The rest of us, uh, no) "ready" for WHEN he pardons his family and the swamp monsters in his cabinet/administration when Mueller charges them with various crimes etc.

The CON-gress, we know that they don't CARE about what tRumputin does, and they for sure won't CARE if his family/swamp monsters are pardoned by that big, treasonous swamp monster Fatso-In-Chief either.
