Most massive and obvious example of modern white privilege ever....

is the lack of universal demands for the resignation of the most obviously corrupt, compromised, unhinged and immoral President ever. Not even close on that count. What did Nixon do but coverup a breakin he had no knowledge of? Terrible stuff, for sure, so that guy resigned in shame, the media was in a frenzy.

How is it that in 2018 a white man in America, and only a white man, non-whites or non-male need not apply, can still be normalized anywhere near this long?

Fucking Republicans and corporate media are the modern day National Socialist German Worker's Party, complete with their "equalizing insane and sane policy, but favouring the insane" state media.

Rant over.

I used to go home from grad school and turn on the hearings on TV and, you know, popcorn and beer. It's going to happen. Question is, fast or slow? And then there's Pence.

Personally, I hope he sticks it out a bit and serves as a drag on the ticket to help out McCaskill.

There is something particularly repugnant about Trump that has an addictive appeal to his 30% base.

Been away from Missouri for decades, and old friends seem to have slipped over to the dark side. Intelligent ones are willing to discuss issues, but this weird brainwashing the right does--I mean, I drove across the country awhile back with the cd player caput and no attachment for the iPhone, so I heard lots of these right wing bastards--don't we realize, if there is no regulation of the public airwaves, the right wing monsters take over?? The Heritage Foundation, ferchrissakes, is taking over block after block in DC where I live, and polluting minds all across the country, because Reagan and Clinton allowed the Fairness Doctrine to slip away. And the rich Kochs fund it all.

There should be a basic requirement that anyone granted the public trust of a broadcast license must broadcast all side of the issues. Either that or shut the fuck up.

"Coors family members have played a prominent role in American politics and public policy, supporting many conservative causes. Such causes included providing a $250,000 grant in 1973 to found The Heritage Foundation,[39] an influential conservative think tank, and, via its parent company, the right-leaning think tank American Enterprise Institute."

This is one of the real problems we should discuss.
