Red Lobster Puts Pinch on Laura Ingraham, Pulls Out as Advertiser

Red Lobster, until Thursday one of Laura Ingraham’s remaining major advertisers, has ended its sponsorship of Ingraham’s Fox News show.

“Red Lobster is no longer advertising during Laura Ingraham’s show,” the company told TheWrap in a statement.

According to a tally by TheWrap, the seafood restaurant chain is the 26th company to pull ads from “The Ingraham Angle” in recent days.

Ingraham has been hit hard by an advertiser boycott campaign spearheaded by Parkland student David Hogg after she mocked him for “whining” about his rejection by several California colleges. Since the campaign began, most of her biggest sponsors, including Mitsubishi, Blue Apron, SlimFast, Ace Hardware, and IBM have bailed, and ad time on “The Ingraham Angle” has been cut roughly in half.
