Panel was just discussed the fact that Trump team was not concerned about Russian inteferance in our election. She said they were worried about spin. Then she said she could understand why Reince and Spicer would immediately pivot to that (because of their jobs) but what about Pence. Joe did not say a negative thing about Pence. He paused for a second and then quietly said that there were no grownups in the room. He seemed hesitant to me. Why does that troll Pence get away with everything? Why does he come off as squeaky clean? Throw all of their @sses in jail. Pence is just as dirty as the rest of the administration.

(31,464 posts)Hes a real, polished (as in slick) politician who can actually get their evil agenda passed. Well, maybe he could at one point. It will be decidedly more difficult with a GOP House. Virtually impossible if the Senate turns, too. But theyre holding out hope, and hedging their bets that Pence will be assuming the thrown. Just keep quiet.
All of these Republican talking heads that are "never Trumpers", wil jump right back on the GOP bandwagon if Pence ever gets to the Oval. They are not sufficiently angry to get their Party Poobahs to DO anything about the Russian Iinterference into our election system or the attack on your. country. They simply want Turmp out so that they can right the ship.... for the GOP.
Once Trump is gone they will be lauding Pence as the moral tower of Christian power and praising him as the savior of the Republic.
(Even though we all know that he is up to his eyeballs in the Russia scandal) Really... I am highly suspicious of seeing them wall to wall on MSNBC every day.

(6,143 posts)Joe wanted to be VP on Trump's ticket but Trump turned him down in the spring of '16. After Trump won Joe wanted a cabinet position and MEka wanted to be press secretary. Again Trump turned them down. They're opposition to Trump is not about principle. It is about revenge.
