If you or I offered inducements to witnesses to not testify, we would be in jail. Trump...not so much...he has Putin's money and a RepubliCON congress to wipe his butt for him.

offered the pardon. That is no different than a lawyer offering cash to a witness.

The lawyer should go down. He will probably deny that it was sanctioned by Trump.

Any chance that this offer happened when not in Washington DC? I would think state bribery laws would also then apply.
