I have nothing to forgive her for.

Comey, not so much. I still understand the importance of propaganda.

Franken is a solid Democrat.

No need to discuss it considering Franken rolled over from the very start. When one is not willing to fight for themselves in one of the greatest deliberative bodies in the world, the end result isn’t going to be pretty.

Dear colleagues, please hold tight for an ethics investigation. I will not be standing up for myself between now and then.

Always a bad move. Love the guy to death but that is an accurate summation.

The problem is instead of fighting back, Franken just started apologizing which made it sound as if the claims were legitimate. Thus, each new allegation made him more of a political liability.

In my mind, they are both guilty of the same thing.

They both furthered an attack originated by partisan Republicans against a Democratic figure for purposes of political expediency.

Gillibrand hurt a top senator attempting to make the party look good (some say it was self serving, though).
Versus
Comey hurt the rightful president attempting to make the FBI look nonpartisan.
