Hardly a recommendation for someone deserving a pardon. If Trump pardons Scooter Libby, something that not even Bush would consider, he is thumbing his nose at the rule of law and flagrantly daring anyone to stop him from yet another effort to obstruct justice to protect himself and send a message to Manafort and Cohen to keep their mouths shut, help is on the way.

This didn't erase the convictions or spare Libby any of the penaties for being a felon.

Liz Cheney might want to paint it as vindication for herself and her father, but they and Libby are irrelevant.
