Danish tourist wearing 'MAGA' hat gets threatened, robbed in Union Square

A teen Danish tourist sporting a red “Make America Great Again” baseball hat was confronted by two men in Union Square who threatened him with a knife before running off with his prized cap, police said Friday.

One of the teen’s assailants grabbed him from behind without warning and ripped the hat off his head as the victim was about to enter the Union Square subway station about 5:40 p.m. Thursday, cops said.

“What are you doing with that hat?” one of the men angrily asked the 18-year-old tourist, police sources said. The controversial caps were a centerpiece of Donald Trump’s successful campaign for President.

As the tourist struggled to get the hat back from the man who snatched it, an accomplice flashed a knife and pointed it at the victim.

I've recounted here a few times how just before the Olympics back in '96 I passed by this group of conservatively dressed middle-age Japanese businessmen at the Atlanta airport and every one of them had confederate flag pins in their lapels and cheap confederate flag caps with some tasteless slogan on them...

Yes, I had every right to lose my shit, but did I? No, because clearly this was their first time in Georgia and these men didn't know what the hell they were really buying...

Anyone with two functioning brain cells to rub together knows what he is and what he stands for. Trust me, Europeans are much more politically aware and astute than the average brain dead idiot deplorable in our nation. This clown knew precisely what he was wearing and paid the price.

He should have known better than to wear a MAGA hat in NYC. I know you shouldn't judge someone by their looks, but he looks like a budding white supremacist to me. He's lucky he got off that easy.
