Have you noticed we have no government now?

Trump's insanity has been known, but this morning he went full tilt into the need for a straight jacket when he tweeted hysterical stuff about Comey. Mueller would not have gotten Cohen 's search warrant without showing the judge who signed it that serious crimes have been committed. Trump has been bunkered down for weeks now, canceled previously scheduled trips, not even golfing.
The VP is keeping such a low profile he is invisible.
The Attorney General is under investigation.
We don't HAVE a Sec. of State now, anyone Trump chooses will have to be confirmed, and that is unlikely.
The Speaker of the House sez he’s going to quit, as has the Senate Pro Tempore.

The Republican majority Congress is doing zilch. The leadership is being investigated for their own roles in the illegal election, conspiracy against the United States, and campaign fund violations.

Rosenstein and Mueller are trying to right a badly listing ship. It will take a bit more time. Meanwhile Russia and China are stepping into the void left my Trump.

There's not much of an EXECUTIVE, but most if not all governmental functions are continuing apace.

'It depends on whether you're looking at the federal workforce or the total government workforce. The number of federal employees has risen under President Obama. There were 2,790,000 federal workers in January 2009 when the president took office, and now there are 2,804,000 workers.Sep 10, 2012'

'An even more inclusive listing comes from USA.gov, which lists 137 independent executive agencies and 268 units in the Cabinet. In a 2015 Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, one senator noted that “The Federal Register indicates there are over 430 departments, agencies, and sub-agencies in the federal government.”Aug 26, 2015'

the incredible hollowing out of our entire administrative apparatus. We don't have a Secty of State, we almost don't have a State Dept. Hundreds of appointments have gone without nominees, and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of jobs everywhere have gone without filling.

...and are just realizing that no one left onboard can steer the boat or even read a map.

They would have been so much better off with Marianne as the new captain.
