As if life didn't suck enough already. I've seen him, and he truly loves his fans, and puts on a great show.
All the favorites of my youth are either dying or retiring, and it's depressing.

(51,604 posts)This is a shame. Many musicians have hearing loss, like P. Townsend, so I wonder if there is a procedure or some new technology to help him?

(42,334 posts)I regularly buy him heavy duty hearing protection. Still, I worry. He forgot them one weekend of rehearsals and had a huge headache and ringing ears when he got home.

Ive actually heard this from a couple of people near where he lived in Idaho.
