The 2016 nominee whose political role in the party has been questioned by some Democrats this year will speak alongside a set of likely presidential candidates next month.Posted on April 13, 2018, at 3:26 p.m.
A set of likely presidential candidates will join their party's last nominee, Hillary Clinton, to raise money for the Democratic National Committee next month at its annual Women's Leadership Forum.
California Sen. Kamala Harris, New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, and former Missouri secretary of state Jason Kander will speak at the May event in Washington, the second major fundraising effort by the DNC this year, following last month's "IWillVote Gala."

The DNC is presenting this year's Women's Leadership Forum, an annual event first held in 1993, under the theme, "Women Will Vote" part of the DNC's new initiative to reach 50 million voters ahead of the 2018 election, a DNC official said on Friday.
Clinton is scheduled to open the event at a welcome reception for guests.
Harris, the first-term California senator thought to be one of the strongest possible contenders in a crowded Democratic primary, will serve as the keynote speaker.

This is phenomenal. Hillary is coming out to fundraise for not only our party but our strong women and our future and our very lives. She will not step on stage with a tired old mantra, she was always the voice of future generations. It's our time now. Sorry to say but many men have kinda fucked this up. Our turn. Please give us that chance.
Vote 2018 and 2020, ours lives depend upon it.

We ALL need to vote.

The idea that she should stay home and knit in the face of this atrocity is beyond absurd.
She is voice of our future.
Women have a voice that will never be silenced no matter how hard they try.
FYI...black women do better than white women's voting records. We need to do better.
We have the vote. Let's make the world a better place.

(32,610 posts)i think we will see a different Hillary. I watched part of the program she recently did at Rutgers and she was calling out the sexism/misogyny...much like us feminists talk among ourselves. In the past she has held back, not anymore.
Go Hillary !
