Mueller is not working in a vacuum
He was FBI Director for 12 years. He worked in the Justice Dept for years, is an expert in white collar crime, fraud, etc.
He knows a lot of the good guys, and they are helping out in various ways. Latest case example, when Cohen got busted..
Which explains how the investigation into the the GOP, Russian mob, international money laundering, etc. is being done so well.
the man is literally cleaning up the country.
at the end of this, there needs to be a special award for this special hero. he will go down in history even as Watergate might fade from memory.
When you have a quiet moment, send him a warm and supportive thought from time to time.

Thank goodness Comey was fired. Rosenstein knew who had the disposition and skills to handle this job.

I do worry that with a party willing to commit treason so easily and frequently that justice will not prevail, but Mueller is about as tough a guy as you can get and wouldnt want it any other way.

(5,210 posts)6. I agree -- tho I think he's doing a lot to clean up
international crime (Russian mobs) -- at least that's the sense I get. And let's face it, as much of an octopus as that "organization" is, it needs to be cleaned up or it'll just grow back. Of course, that's not his perview, but he can share what he finds with international allies.
