Why is Comey Being So Petty??

Why is Comey being so petty, ask some republicans?? The Republicans/Administration are out there saying that it is not the role of an FBI agent to put his personal opinions out there about Trump. Well, I like to think how the republicans would spin it if this were in reverse. If Comey was saying similar things about Hillary right now instead of about Trump, and if anyone dared complain about it, the Republicans/Administration spin would be, "Well, Mr. Comey is no longer an employee of the FBI so he has every right to express his opinions however he pleases!"

And, that is what we should be out there saying! If Republicans can always get away with doing contortions to spin things in their favor, then why can't we??!

nan a nanna boo boo.

I thought Comey was petty. It takes the truth of what he says in his book and makes it easier for people to wave the petty flag.

considering what could be said about the orange asshole. You think without descriptions and adjectives the publishers and editors would be cool with that? You think the idea is also to not sell books as well? Let's all grow up and get real.

people can ask that question. Comey was doing his lifelong job. Got fired because he wouldn't play ball. Then got lied about. Yeah it seems strange he would take that personally.

being petty is more acceptable to the gop, since their "leader" is as petty as a middle schoolgirl. Wait, the kids from the school shooting in Florida are more mature than the orange ass in the WH. What a disgrace he is.

facts, non-facts or fiction, non-fiction, whatever. However, if Comey's goal was to sell this book on what happened, his firing, his discussions with Trump, he would look more credible leaving out those things like Trump's small hands, etc. Most, will still read the book & be able to separate out the pettiness of those things & pull the facts out of the book.

It is difficult fighting the republicans because they fight with non-truths, spin, as they say, alternative facts & sometimes out & out lies. Besides that, they have their faux manufactured news, NRA, other media that puts out hardcore untruthful matters or lies supporting the right-wing. We have the corporate media that may not be right-wing, are more truthful but still they hit the Dems as hard as they hit the republicans so the Dems have to battle on so many fronts but they are not fake-news as the republicans spin all the time.

You have Comey who may have more class, intelligence & a much better person overall, morally as well than Trump but I still do not understand Comey's reasoning in going public like he did about re-opening the investigation on Hillary's emails & only 11 days before the election. As I said, Comey is intelligent & savvy enough, he had to know what that would do. Why did he do that? His answer in the book is pretty hard to buy. Especially, if he felt he had to go public with that, to be fair, he should of at that time mentioned that Trump was under investigation as well. Someday, hopefully we will get that answer.

It took only 3 days after making his statement for the FBI to come out and say there was nothing new in the emails. Why couldn't he wait 3 more days or have done that research in the weeks prior to making that announcement?
