Best way I know to get background quickly to respond to RWNJ posts and show others just how crazy the people behind the latest conspiracy theories really are.
I was reminded of this again yesterday when I started running across bizarre tweets about what was supposedly a really scandalous Hillary Clinton video, something apparently related to the Pizzagate nonsense.
You'd think Pizzagate would have been so completely discredited months ago that even the nut jobs wouldn't be babbling about it still, but no.
And the main RWNJ behind all the babble about the nonexistent HRC video is apparently Liz Crokin, a Pizzagate promoter.
It took me a while to figure this out skimming tweets, but I'd've found this out quicker if I'd checked the Right Wing Watch site
http://www.rightwingwatch.org/
since they did a story on Crokin's batshit YouTube video about this latest "scandal" a couple of days ago:
http://www.rightwingwatch.org/post/liz-crokin-claims-that-she-knows-one-hundred-percent-that-a-video-of-hillary-clinton-sexually-abusing-a-child-exists/
There are more than 50 links at RWW to articles or "bonus track" news about Crokin. (More background on her here, in an article that came out after Roseanne Barr referred to some other idiocy from Crokin in a tweet that got Roseanne enough media attention and controversy that she cut way back on tweeting: https://www.chicagoreader.com/Bleader/archives/2018/04/06/former-chicago-gossip-columnist-liz-crokin-is-now-a-star-among-far-right-conspiracy-theorists )
Anyway, one of the best methods for discrediting these RWNJs is to be able to point out just how crazy they are.
And Right Wing Watch is particularly useful for that, especially with their People page
http://www.rightwingwatch.org/people/
which allows you to do a very quick search for names and find, more quickly than you can via Google, just how many really stupid and crazy things these RWNJs have said.
And then you can put whatever nonsense they're currently peddling in context. Which will discredit them for all but the craziest true believers.

(48,993 posts)They're especially good at keeping track of Fox News and its lies and idiocies.
I like Right Wing Watch for covering more of the RW alternate universe, though. It helps to know about all the craziness the RWNJs are obsessed with, not just what surfaces on Fox, which filters some of the craziness out.

(32,639 posts)...and it's helpful to provide links here in case DUers want to keep up-to-date on what the RWNJs are doing.
However I don't want to see their RW articles posted here, and I don't believe we should give them traffic (clicks) that they don't deserve. Many DUers barely have time to keep up with legitimate liberal news/issues - what with time constraints due to jobs, family, etc. Let's not repost the right-wingers' crazy stuff here because it's not worth anybody's time to read it.
Thanks guys!

The Chicago Reader article
https://www.chicagoreader.com/Bleader/archives/2018/04/06/former-chicago-gossip-columnist-liz-crokin-is-now-a-star-among-far-right-conspiracy-theorists
has some interesting background on Crokin.
