I thought he was the covfefe boy.

Well, that kind of erodes Cohen's contention that he's a lawyer. After all, one of his three clients just disowned him. No lawyer, no privilege?

Every now and then I run into someone who thinks that money needs to change hands in order for the attorney-client privilege to attach.

Hannity must be one of those people.

Simple answer - no, an exchange of money is not required for privilege to attach.

"Give me 10 bucks." "What?" "Give me 10 bucks!" "OK, here." "I'm your lawyer now, everything we say to each other is now protected under attorney client privilege."

He's not just a criminal lawyer, he's a criminal. lawyer.

try to get info out of him, only you drink too much and reveal something. Quickly you hand him $10 and say "you're my lawyer too!" Very insulting to the lawyer, but the kid did hire Susan Sarandon in "The Client" for $1 right???

You just can't make this shit up!
