Wood: SDNY's integrity unimpeachable, taint team viable option, but special master might have role

Latest tweets frosm Stephen Brown:

Judge Wood: I have faith in the Southern District US Attorney’s office that their integrity is unimpeachable. I think that a taint team is a viable option.

Wood: In terms of perception of fairness – not fairness itself – a special master might have a role here. My interest is in getting this moving efficiently and speedily.

AUSA McKay now talking about how to share Cohen materials with defense teams. "We would be able to do this most efficiently on a rolling basis," he says.

Wood: "Once you’ve seen the documents, I want to hear your proposals for how we can move fast." So both sides will probably be back in court fairly soon.

Per Law360 reporter Pete Brush via twitter:

Judge Wood denies TRO. Says no injunction ruling right now because it's too soon to know what docs are implicated in the Trump / Michael Cohen / Stormy Daniels review. But, in general, she has found the Manhattan US Atty's args most persuasive

Before that, she told them:

"There's no question that you're going to get a set of material," Judge Wood just told Todd Harrison, who represents Michael Cohen. "But you're not going to take away what the government has."
