Team Trump basically said they can't get a fair hearing because the DOJ and FBI are biased. The judge then criticized them for politicizing and attacking law enforcement.

President Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen has been giving legal advice to one of the commander-in-chief’s favorite talking heads — Fox News host Sean Hannity.

Cohen’s lawyers revealed in Manhattan Federal Court on Monday afternoon that he has been the attorney to the conservative commentator for the past two years.

The revelation came after some serious teeth pulling by Judge Kimba Wood, who finally ordered Cohen’s lawyers to cough up the name on the spot.

Before announcing the name, Cohen’s lawyers tried desperately to keep Hannity’s identity a secret, saying that the client didn’t want his name made public.

Trump asks to go through evidence seized during Cohen raid first

“I’m trying to protect the privacy of that individual, your honor,” Ryan told Wood during a hearing about the records seized in a federal raid on Cohen’s office, home and hotel room.

Ryan even tried to argue that naming Hannity would have a chilling effect, scaring off people in the future from consulting attorneys.

But Wood didn’t buy it, stating that Cohen’s attorneys didn’t cite any law that would bar the revelation.
