An 8 point generic ballot lead is NOT ENOUGH for us to win in November.

We need to be up by 10 or 12, at least.

Consider: The GOPee in 2010 had only a 2 point lead. But they also had gerrymandered districts, a honed voter suppression mechanism, and plain ld racism on their side.

All of that is still in place and maybe even stronger than in 2010. Candidates and, especially, the DNC better have countermeasures in place or it will feel like 2016 all over again.

some heavily blue districts might stay the same or go blue by +2 or +4, while some red or pink districts can become bluer by 10-12 points or more, as we've seen in some of the special elections around the country.

If keep up the protest marches we keep up the pressure.

These reports that say we are in trouble are used to destroy our enthusiasm.

There's a lot of work to do and little time to do it. Let's ALL get out there.

No. "All of that" is not "still in place".

Pennyslvania's gerrymander nightmare is over. The potential now is for Democrats to add from 2 (pretty much guaranteed) and up to 4 NEW Democratic seats to Congress from PA, to supplement the current 6 (the 6th one just happened with the Special election party-flip pickup last month).

Democrats need 23 to flip the House. I think I remember reading something where they were targeting 5 alone in California. Even if PA only gets say 3 more and CA only gets 2 more and there is a FL pickup, that's more than 1/4 of what is needed just from 3 states.
