There is no “referral” the FBI would make to the FCC.

Especially not about Fox News because Fox News is a cable channel and does not get broadcasted over the airwaves so they wouldn’t come under FCC jurisdiction as the content anyway.

There is no “scoop” with this. She says three times in that short article they are considering “refersll” to the FCC, and to anyone who knows how our system of government works of what the FCC does and does not have jurisdiction over its clear she is making shit up.

This is another case of her flinging stuff and names all over, with a major part of it clearly bullshit, but she got a name in there that came into play later on in a way maybe or maybe not the same at all to the article and people are looking past all the nonsense she put in the same article because she guessed right at a name, maybe.

What you're talking about is an informational (or memetic) version of pollen. Throw enough to the wind and something will stick and germinate.

However, didn't Mencsh once work for the British intelligence? Does she not, as all the boys do, keep her old contacts on the ol' Rolodex? There's a lot of animosity towards Mensch out there and some of it seems personal.... just curious, not critical.

And it’s the deeper things than names.

Things like her claiming the Supreme Court has started impeachment procedures and had sent the Marshall of the Supreme Court to notify Trump.

That’s not just getting names wrong. That’s like getting the entire core of how the system of government in the US wrong. It’s soemthing so blatantly bad that there is no way it can be true.

This claim about “FCC referral” is the same kind of nonsense. She’s taking a very limited grasp of how the US Government operates, not doing any research, and throwing out wild-assed theories that are not even possible.

Her theories in both my examples above sound good if you don’t have any grasp of how the US Government works. And they look like what someone with a limited knowledge of how things works would make things up.

So one of two fbm gs is possible to explain it. Either her “sources” are feeding her a lot of absolute garbage she is blindly repeating without any attempt to check even the mechanics of it to see if it’s posisble, or she is just making stuff up.

I don’t know what explanation says worse things about her.

But regardless she’s doing just that, throwing a lot of wild assed crap around and people claim success when anything she said even tangentially kind of lines up with anything down the road.

In a lot of ways the diehard Mensch fans act like the Alex Jones fans. They want to believe all her wild assed stuff is real so they ignore all the times she is right and cling to any slivers where she is kind of right to claim she has credibility.

My animosity isn’t personal, but stems from the fact that every time people on our side repeat her wild assed claims it damages the credibility of all of us on the left.

she wrote chick lit before becoming a MP. She has no special insight or sources. She is just a CT peddler that happens to peddle CTs that appeal to progressives.
