So why did Cohen's folks state clearly in court that Hannity was their third client (Original Post) malaise Apr 2018 OP
They wanted it to seem like he actually had clients and was not just a "fixer" OKNancy Apr 2018 #1
How did they make it look more legitimate? malaise Apr 2018 #3
Exactly. Cohen would have done much better to name Hillary. Hortensis Apr 2018 #10

If he just had Trump and the creepy Republican guy, then he really wasn't a lawyer.
By adding Hannity, he thought it would make it look more legitimate .

If they are calling him a client because he was present during various Cohen / Trump discussions.

some ex- federal prosecutors on O'Donnell last night think so. They both thought it very likely that this is an attempt to get some document obtained by search warrant from Cohen suppressed under attorney-client privilege.

Desperation time.

Cohen, his lawyers, Hannity & Emperor Skeevy know that they will find documents with Hannity.

What boggles my mind is this :

Subtle reminder that Sean Hannity made 36 million last year. He's the highest paid cable news personality in the entire world. He can afford any attorney he wants. He chose the same fixer as Donald Trump for a reason.

As despicable as is Hannity, he is not stupid.

Why a man who makes so much money, who can afford any real and serious lawyer, would choose Cohen ?

here goes:

WHAT IF ol' Sean was paying for his legal advice with his daily application of his lipstick on Trump's posterior? Of course, some of that "advice" could have been "real estate advice", as in which multi-million dollar condo to buy and flip to some oligarch for a quick killing. And, then, since Trump was the beneficiary of Sean's on-air smooches, part of the money his campaign actually paid to Cohen was payment for his "advice" to Sean. Everybody wins---except Uncle Sam.

"Nothing to see here! Move along!"
