LIVE Stream April 19 at 8PM - The Enduring Challenge of a Moral Economy - Sen. Sanders, Rev. Barber

Scheduled for Apr 19, 2018
Duke University Chapel will host a public conversation with U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders and the Rev. William J. Barber II. The discussion, “The Enduring Challenge of a Moral Economy: 50 Years After Dr. King Challenged Racism, Poverty, and Militarism,” will be moderated by Duke Chapel Dean Luke A. Powery. The public conversation is part of Duke’s 2018 Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration and Duke Chapel’s Bridge Panel series, which seeks to connect people from disparate walks of life in order to discover shared pathways toward the beloved community of God.

Trying his best to make up ground in one of his historically weakest areas.

His campaign is ramping up. He took time off to rest while Clinton battled Trump and has been getting out there more and more these days. Normally no where near his own constituency.

If he insists on being out there, it's helpful if he actually contributes something and doesn't put his foot in his mouth.

He decided to go the lone statesman route.

He is simply a superstar if he doesn’t step in it these days.

He works hard to bring people together toward economic and social justice goals. I couldn't care less about his political party affiliation or that of anyone who appears with him. It's the message that matters to me.
