Conservative advertisement on DU

Why do I get so many conservative ads on DU. For instance, this one showed up this morning http://www.stevefortexas.com.

If they want to waste their money that’s fine by me, but weird.

I am trying to figure out what sites I visited that were considered conservative. Now I do live in Texas (where this morning’s ad was about) and it’s a conservative suburb. So maybe it’s that?

But that wasn’t the question. I don’t mind the ads and normally don’t pay attention to them, but they catch my attention when it’s something like that.

are put in by the hosting company, not DU, and target your ISP based on an algorithm of your web behavior.

Bit these algorithms arent perfect or precise, so you get conservative ads.
