Fox & Friends Defends Hannity: 'Perfectly Logical' to Ask Trump's Lawyer for Legal Advice

by Ken Meyer | 9:06 am, April 17th, 2018

Fox & Friends defended Sean Hannity against the revelation that he was the secret client Michael Cohen was trying to keep of the record before court yesterday.

-snip-

“It’s perfectly logical to think that if you’re friendly with somebody, that you might ask him for legal help,” Kilmeade said. “As I say all the time, I can’t tell you how many times I asked [Judge Andrew Napolitano] legal things to help me with stories, not in legal trouble, but I asked for legal advice.”

As Steve Doocy lamented the end of attorney-client privilege, Ainsley Earhardt decided to just make stuff up and say that Cohen wasn’t claiming Hannity as his client.

“Michael Cohen wasn’t saying that Sean Hannity was is client, right. He was just asked by the judge who did you give legal advice to. They could just be friends, giving each other legal advice.”

It should be noted that Cohen’s attorney, Stephen Ryan, did describe Hannity as a client of the Trump lawyer.

However even if these links are exposed many Fox watchers will not care because
they are so brain washed by Fox's toxic bile. "Well, at least we stopped Hillary."

deflect and lie. They knew, and when the evidence comes forth verifying that Hannity in fact is one of Cohen's clients, then they as usual will play "shock", look over there mode. This time tho, I hope they show "birds" mating dances cause that is some funny shit.

... though I would question the wisdom of it, since Cohen seems to be the worst lawyer ever.

But I do think it puts Hannity in the shit. Not that I think the MAGAts care, but covering the Cohen story while concealing a personal and business relationship with him is a problem for Hannity AND Fox.

because Cohen fixed something embarrassing for Hannity, like an affair. And, Hannity is lying now because he doesn't want his wife and kids to find out that The Fixer had to fix something for him.

Fox News has a problem. The problem is not whether Hannity was a client or just a friend of Cohen. Hannity spent several nights going on tirades about unfair searches of Cohen's files and papers, while never really disclosing his personal relationship to Cohen. It was already obvious Hannity had a personal relationship with Trump. Diehard Fox News watchers will not care, but any reputation Fox had left will be taking serious hits.

Hannity now has many potential problems. Denying he was a client, then saying he was just a friend, then backtracking and saying perhaps he did slip Cohen some $ for some questions on "real estate", along with his previous nights tirades open him up to not only ridicule, but also further investigation and clarification.

If he wasn't a legitimate client?

It's not like Hannity was one of dozens.
There were only THREE people mentioned.

Hannity was a full client no matter what Fox News says.

.... and I think Sean Hannity was a last minute person in order to comply w/the Judges
orders. Now I have no doubt that Hannity and Cohen were in communications but
I doubt Cohen was really Hannity's lawyer.
