I know, it sounds completely insane. I wish I were barking at the moon, and I could just say, It’s getting to you, time to back off.

But things are NOT okay out there; it’s like some weird force has been unleashed that’s turned roughly 30-40% of American citizens into absolute lunatics, who believe that Christ is returning any second now (!) and that it’s a good idea to partner up with “white, Christian” Russia.

Republicans currently control all three branches of government, they have a dedicated, state-controlled propaganda outlet in Fox, and apparently they have no problem with surrendering democracy.

As Orwell wrote (all too presciently), “Freedom is slavery.”

& realize exactly the monsters they are up against. I fear if the dems ever gain any influence again, they will work with their colleagues across the aisle in the name of healing the nation. I think our reps & senators suffer from the fact that they work with these people everyday & they see them as basically decent people with a difference of opinion, not the monsters they really are.
