It's been said over and over by many that if Trump fires Mueller his presidency is over.

So all those Republicans in Congress who want to protect Trump should be clamoring to pass a bill to protect Mueller, because in doing so they would be protecting Trump from self-destructing.

Of course Trump will go down in flames anyway, but you'd think republicans who want to protect Trump would move to protect him from himself.

That's overstating the case though I believe the reaction will be apocalyptic. That's seems contradictory but i don't believe firing Mueller will lead to his immediate removal. I do believe their will be a shitstorm unlike any we have seen in our lifetime.

Think about it. If Trump fires Mueller - the Repugs now have a good excuse to impeach him and replace him with Pence.

Right now it would be hard for them to justify impeaching him. Firing Mueller - they can say they have no alternative but to move to impeach.

I think they want him out, but with as little damage to the party as possible. They don't want to lose his base.

I've actually thought that they truly despise him. They wanted Jeb. When that didn't happen, and when 45 won the nomination, they decided they have to try to use it to their advantage. 45 is just their "useful fool". No tears will be shed when he's out. JMO

...no really.....THIS is the line. This one right here. If he crosses that one then his candidacy/presidency is over.

What's that? He crossed it. Oh, we meant the NEXT time. We were actually pointing to THAT line way over there.

...if Trump hamstrings the investigation by limiting scope or timing, his presidency is over

...if Trump fires Rosenstein his presidency is over

...if Trump pardons those under investigation his presidency is over

...if Trump denigrates, delegimitizes, or otherwise throws DOJ under the bus for his own protection...his presidency is over

...if Trump fires the FBI director who is leading an investigation against him...his presidency is over
