Man with ALS who confronted Flake over tax law launches Be a Hero campaign to beat Republicans

The ad starts with an emotional punch: An image of Ady Barkan playing with his son, and the words “this dying man could lose his health care” flashing across the screen.


“I am losing my ability to speak, so I am asking Americans all around the country to be my voice,” said Barkan in a phone interview. “I want them to stand up and march and vote, because I am losing my ability to walk.”

the tax plan that threatens benefits for the disabled, among other things. It's amazing to see what Ady is doing now. He is a HERO!

His insurance wasn't paying for the things prescribed by his doctor. I think it was some standard stuff like a vent and meds, but not sure. People need to do a gofundme for him.
